Our monkfish is caught by Breton fishermen with a firm commitment to sustainable fishing. Guaranteed boneless and without skin, it is skillfully hand-filleted with a unique know-how. Renowned for its firm white fish, monkfish is also appreciated for its refined delicate texture, somewhat different from its image!
Characteristics of our Monkfish fillet:
- 1 pack, 180-230g, Skinless, Boneless
1 Box of 8 fillets (4 packs of 2) of 300-500g, Skinless, Boneless
- Storage: Keep frozen at -18°C for long term storage (until expiry date mentioned on the pack) or store in your fridge (in the original packaging) for a consumption within 2-3 days.
- Defrosting instructions: Keep the fillets into its orignal vacuum-sealed pack and leave it in your fridge until completely thawed.
Roasted: Fry for 2 mins to just brown the monkfish, then carefully turn it over and fry for a further 2 mins. Then transfer the fillet in a baking tray and roast it for 10-30 minutes at 220°C (around 10min for a portion of 300g) until the flesh is opaque and flake easily when pressed with a fork.
