Crispy Whiting Fish & Chips

Ditching the classic Cod fish & chips, this whiting fish & chips brings you a whole new taste of this British staple dish. Created by the head chef of Bouillon, this recipe is one of our all time favorite.


Serves 2

             Qwehli Whiting Filets Portions

2              Eggs

30            Grams of flour

50            Grams of oil

10            Grams of butter

5              Grams of parsley

1              Pinch of salt and pepper



  1. Cut the whiting fillets into 4-5 pieces.

  2. Break eggs into a deep plate and whisk them into an omelet. Pour the flour into another deep plate. Roll each piece of whiting in the eggs and then the flour.

  3. In a frying pan, heat a little butter and oil over low heat and fry the pieces 2-3 minutes each side. Add parsley, salt, pepper and lemon.

  4. Taste right away with homemade mayonnaise or a tartar sauce!

 Chef’s advice: Repeat step 2  twice.



  1. 鑊落油,熱油至160度,加入蒜蓉,百里香,鹽,黑胡椒,香煎智利鱸魚6分鐘後,起鍋裝盤

  2. 鑊落油,加入蒜蓉,洋蔥碎,鹽,黑胡椒,牛肝菌,翻炒;加入黃酒或牛油煮30分鐘後,加入忌廉混合成醬汁
